PRAYER
FOR THE FEAST OF
BLESSED DAMIEN JOSEPH DE VEUSTER
Almighty Father, we praise your name for Your servant Damien,
missionary to the lepers,
and for all those who,
following in the footsteps of Your beloved Son,
have preached the good news of salvation
to the despised and rejected of the earth,
not counting the cost to themselves;
and we pray that Your love for us may enkindle in our hearts
an answering love for You and our neighbors,
and that Your grace may give us wisdom to see the opportunities
You give us to serve You,
and the courage to grasp them;
that in all things we may be made conformable
unto the image of the same Your Son our Savior Jesus Christ,
who now lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and ever.

BLESSED GIANNA BERETTA MOLLA
0 Jesus, I promise You to submit myself
to all that You permit to befall me,
make me only know Your Will.
My most sweet Jesus,
infinitely merciful God,
most tender Father of souls,
and in a particular way of the most weak,
most miserable,
most infirm which You carry with special tenderness
between Your Divine arms,
I come to You to ask You,
through the love and merits of Your Sacred Heart,
the grace to comprehend and to do always Your holy Will,
the grace to confide in You,
the grace to rest securely
through time and eternity
in Your loving divine arms.

OF BLESSED JUNIPERO SERRA
Lord Jesus Christ,
reward the apostolic zeal of Your Seraphic son,
Blessed Junípero Serra,
who leaving home and fatherland,
labored for the salvation of souls in Spain,
Mexico and California.
By Your Most Holy Name
may he be raised to the full honors of the altar.
Through the intercession of Blessed Serra,
look with favor on our special prayers
which have no earthly answer[State your intention here....]. This
we pray through Christ our Lord. AMEN

FOR THE CANONIZATION
OF BLESSED KATERI TEKAWITHA
O God, who, among the many marvels of Your Grace in the New World,
did cause to blossom on the banks of the Mohawk
and of the St. Lawrence, t
he pure and tender Lily, Kateri Tekakwitha,
grant we beseech You,
the favor we beg through her intercession,
that this Young Lover of Jesus and of His Cross
may soon be counted among the Saints of Holy Mother Church,
and that our hearts may be enkindled
with a stronger desire to imitate her innocence and faith.
Through the same Christ Our Lord. AMEN. Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha,
pray for us.
